4AD 25 years.

Colourbox were patchy but when they worked - World Cup Theme, Baby I Love You So, Looks Like We're Shy One Horse - they were amazing.

i probably have more 4AD than i care to admit. Wolfgang Press and all

True. I think the second album is patchier than the first. The first four tracks (as you've pointed out) are ace but the rest are crap.

And their precursor, Colourbox.
Aye. I kind of lost track of Colourbox after M/A/R/R/S - did they even do much afterwards? Same with their other precursors, A R Kane. I think they were on a different label, but same musical ethos if you will.

The eminent Doctor would have been a huge Cure fan, I am utterly convinced of that.

After M/A/R/R/S they just petered out. Though I wouldn't be surprised if any of them didn't have anything to do with the dance scene. I'll check.

it's about finger fucking :p

and that's the best lyrics they could come up with for a song about fingering set in a butchers?

pah.....

and dr. who wasn't and isn't a cure fan. there is absolutely no evidence for such a thing being true, apart from him wearing a big coat.....
