3rd ODI vs South Africa

Flintoff is getting ready to come back, signs a autograph as he comes down the stairs. And leans over the stairs and taps some one on the head. Camera swings to that person and its' Graeme Smith who swivels around to see who the offender is. Both share a laugh
lol

Well that prooved me wrong. what has happened to Gibbs?

Mind, he was probably run out prior to the catch, the third umpire made that decision far too quickly.

Damn, i now have to go out so i'm going to miss the end. Hopefully that'll have a similar effect to the 2nd ODI :)

G'luck England!

edit: and there we go :) a wicket as i pressed reply :)

:D :D :D

82-4 goodbye de villers

What a stupid run that was.

I thought Amla looked good, he looked good in the test series as well. I don't really understand why he's not first choice in the ODI team. He's got to be a better bet than Duminy.

Starting to wonder if SA really care anymore. Their loss anyway, they could've been number 1 in the world had they won this series i think the commentators said.

It makes no sense - are we really stuffing the second-best (and not far off first in terms of points) ODI team in the world?

The consistent failure of SA's top 3 has shined a pretty harsh light on the rest of their batting.

Yes. Yes we are.

It isn't what anyone would have predicted, but it's not completely out of left-field either. England have played very well for the last couple of years, but only in fits and spurts. It remains to be seen whether this is the beginning of a consistently good ODI team or just another purple patch.

Come back, Scally!

And then go again.

i'm back :( have been sick on and off through the day, though i was through the worst, but oh no, been sick again. so that's my trip to Jersey in the can (literally...sobs) :(

anyhows, i watched the last wicket go so can't be me jinxing it this time...looks at Teaboy :hmm: :D

Does anyone else think Freddie should really tuck that necklace in? It's a bit dangerous, surely? We always had to take jewelery off for PE...

they've done the important bit

By winning the test series? Agreed, but wouldn't being totally pwned in ODI's knock them back abit, confidence wise like?

Or, on a more positive note, would winning this ODI series stand England in good stead for their future test series? Players such as Bell, Harmy, Fred must be feeling good right now, and KP must be on right high*

*says she counting all the chickens in the coup :o

I recall a south african(i cant remember who) earlier today speaking on sky saying..

'the way england are playin right now, they aren't like the 6th best one day side in the world but one of the best'

So i gather that they do care. I think its flintoff/harmison coming into the side thats changed it.

8th wicket down!
