yes. yes it is. I think I might lose some time over it.

Part of me wants to start it again and choose a different class and stuff.

I think that's quite common with Oblivion, I've played it on pc a lot and tried a few different fighters. In fact I've done that on Neverwinter Nights 2 as well and on Dungeon Siege. It's a great game, can't wait for Fallout 3. :)

I want one of those cat things that can see in the dark. I'm currently playing a dark elf assassin, so I'm spending a lot of time creeping around in the dark. It'd be nice if I could see what I was doing without holding a big flaming torch.

What's fallout 3?

Become a vamipre, you get all sorts of attributes including being able to see in the dark. You can't got out in the day time though, which is a bit of a bugger.

Fallout 3 is the next RPG from Bethesda, it's another 'most eagerly awaited game ever' because Fallout 1 and 2 are very old pc games that were benchmarks of their time. Everyone says they've played them, like everyone was at Woodstock or Shoom or wherever the young generation lie about being now so as to be seen as groovy.

It's gonna be awesome.

yeah, I've heard of fallout. didn't realise there was a fallout 2.

how do you get to be a vampire? I was reading the manual today and it mentioned something you could only do when you were a vampire. got me thinking. I guess you need to be bitten by one?

Spent most of today trying to find the thieves guild. Typical that the guild I actually want is the one without any offices. I've been nicking things but nobody's noticed yet....

Yes - attacked and wounded by a vamp. You catch a disease and then if left untreated for a few days, you become a vamp.

IIRR you actually have to be caught, nicked and spend some time in jail for theft to be contacted.

If you are developing a sneaky character it is also good to do the Dark Brotherhood quests as well, for the rewards you get.

To find these you will need kill an "innocent" - some quests actually lead you to doing this, or you could hurry the process along yourself.

You will know when you do it right....
