Or maybe, just maybe, Somatics are more noisy than progressive.

i wouldn't say more noisy than progressive, but definitely noisy. i guess the problem in the uk is that a lot of people just don't get hard music

Damn, that was certainly belting! At one point during Traffik's set I thought to myself "FUCK! This is the best thing EVAH".
Lots of dancing, lots of zoning out totally into the bleeps... I was a bit upset that Somatic responses' set was so disjointed, when they got going it was properly fabulous but they minced around a lot and I kept losing the flow. Oh well, that'll be what happens if you go out and don't take any drugs (despite all appearances to the contrary )
Wicked event, I hope to go to another one just like it!

thanks for the positive feedback, the party exceeded all my expectations and the turnout was great. we had a noise complaint early on in the night so the system was only running at about 1/4 power - still fukin loud and crystal clear though! one of the belgiums has recorded all of the sets so i'll upload them and post some links once i get them

if anyone has any pics or film clips from the night then please send them to me, cheers

the only downer was that one of the banners was stolen, at around 4.30am-5am it disappeared - if anyone knows of it's whereabouts then please get in contact. it was hand painted by myself and took several weeks to finish

rackitt played acid house and old belgian acid from 1991-93, so i'd class that as oldskool. myself, gordie, traffik and sadia probably all played records from 1994-97. there have been hardly any really good acid records released for years, but the good stuff from back in the day still sounds very fresh
