3 Hours in London.

From Victoria, take the District or Circle line two stops east to Westminster (or you could walk to Westminster and see the Houses of Parliament on the way). At Westminster pick up the Jubilee Line to London Bridge. At London Bridge take the exit that's signposted for Borough Market, the Market entrance is right next to it.

You can catch a direct train to London Bridge from Victoria, or just catch a train direct from your point of departure

The tube trains are more frequent though. At that time of day, direct overland trains between Victoria and London Bridge are only every 30 minutes.

he gets in to victoria.

and i just realised that i have been talking about paddington, when i meant to say marylebone. they are fairly close though..

i'd say it would be good to buy a little map.
you can get a touristy one out of a machine at the stations for 2 quid.

but why does punchdrunkme want to go to Victoria when they really want to go to London Bridge?

Presumably punchdrunkme booked his train/coach ticket to London Victoria first before deciding what to do in the few hours between arriving in London and going to the gig.

they normally give you a choice, the tickets a generally to London Stations, if it's a bus, they often stop at the Elephant

He's coming from up north, he told us that. No point complicating things for him. Directions from Victoria are simple enough.

hello again everyone. Thanks for the directions. I have just had a little nap and a sandwich. That was nice.

Just for clarification I will be arriving at victoria by means of coach. 5 Pounds it was all the way from Preston!
:D
Also I am a girl :)

I will defiantly purchase a map if nothing else reading one correctly makes me feel a tiny bit clever. My plan so far is a little tourist wandering and some food.
Are off peak travel cards still about 7 quid? is it worth buying one off one of them dodgy fellas outside the tube? or will they rob me? :(

I wouldn't bother with buying from dodgy seller fellas, not worth the hassle.
