i think, pretty much it means he gets to go to the games, sit in a fancy box, and drink free champagne, i may be wrong though

I think it means more than that unfortunately.

Like his prat dad, it means he gets to claim to know what every welshman feels, thinks and shits like.

As ddraig wrote, it's all about the international stage.

"Rugby is such a central part of Welsh life and I hope to be able to contribute in some way to the development of the sport, both at the community level and on the international stage," he added.

Just a dry run really for when he becomes the prince of wales, if / when bonnie prince dick for brains takes up the throne.

The WRU top brass are sycophantic fuckwits, and they can shove their three feathers up their arse holes. The same goes for his royal 'highness', who can shove his patronage, his family, his union flag and his United kingdom. May he get thoroughly booed at the next home match...if he turns up that is. :)

 to the last few posts

sooooo, does anyone know if there are or has been any campaigns against the 3 feathers as the Welsh emblem?
i have searched and can't find anything so far.

Yeah, Brockway, man. How do you know they ain't talking about you?;) :D

Don't be ridiculous llantwit. I'm always welcomed with Dos i ffwcio dy hun y cont and Twll tin y gont hoyw whenever I walk through their glittering doors. Not exactly sure what these poetic phrases in the language of heaven mean but they always gladden my heart. :)

it's to advertise a website www.welshnotbritish.com (obviously doesn't work very well if people think it belongs to the Valley RAMS!)

I was well pissed off when i heard Pickering gushing about this on the radio. Who exactly makes these decisions anyway? It's not just crazy nationalists like myself who are going to find this offensive, and makes the WRU look even more of out of touch than usual. Peter Black raises a few good point on his blog about it being part of a larger plan to smooth things over form in investiture of Willy.

I think I'll do a letter to the Echo - maybe they'll do one of those polls :D

BTW anyone clock the Gren cartoon with the sheep ? when they were saying about willy

'One less ticket for the boys '
