Canuck, you know about old Ernst? That porker was in Canada, then moved to that bastion of multi-culturism the Tennessee hill country.

Days before a Human Rights Commission was to hand down an unfavourable ruling on his actual participation on a website bearing his name, hosted on a server in the US (and operated by his wife, a US citizen).

For blowing off an important US Immigration hearing. He was "shipped back up to Canada" because that was the point from which he'd entered the US. When he emigrated, two years before, he spat on the country that has hosted him those three decades and vowed never to return. When the Yanks dumped him on us, he might have requested to be deported to any country willing to have him; but being Ernst (and having allowed his Landed Immigrant status in Canada to elapse), he decided to stick it to the Canadians one last time by making a public mockery of our generous refugee provisions by cliaming political persecution in the US. That was his undoing.

Hearings to determine the worthiness of his refugee claim were held. He spent that period in detention and when he demanded bail pending the outcome of those hearings a seperate investigation was initiated to determined if he presented a threat to national security if released. That was where it sat when the Germans made an extradition request, which Canada, unsurprisingly, chose to honour.

That's not the case. He's served about half of the five-year sentence he received in the German trial.

Ernst with those puppy dog eyes thought he was going to show those wily Jews when he took all those academics to task at his trial for Holocaust Denial. He bit off much more than he could chew though...and by the looks of him he sure could chew!

He was convicted, once in 1985 and again in retrial in 1988, on an arcane section of the Criminal Code of Canada governing "spreading false news". In the end the second conviction was overturned by the Supreme Court of Canada on constitutional grounds, ruling that the law violated the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

I remember when this guy in Israel interviewed him on TV. The amazing thing? He is a fuc%%ng Jew!!! Hahahahaha. Why do we ALWAYS produce the nutters? Our own worst enemies many times over. Ernst was hiding it but he went to 'Germany years back and tried to get a copy of the Nazi Era Aryan Certificate issued in WWII but his family never received one!

He always denied he was Jewish until reporters dug it up. In truth he is only 25% but it is enough in our culture to have your mum's mum (maternal grandmother) be Jewish. So the reporter asks him the Million Shekel question, "So, are you Jewish?"

Ernst: with his big puppy dog eyes, in his Sgt. Shultz voice, "I do not know..." So quietly you could hear a pin drop. Waaaaaaaaaaa! Mutter!

I've seen that video and I think I'm familiar enough with Ernst's schtick to believe that his response was arbitrarily controversial. He's said and done things over the years to get his name (and therefore his pet subject) in the press and on the news that have left even veteran Zündle-watchers with their jaws on the floor. I give your theory as much credibility as I do those claiming Hitler had a Jewish grandparent-- which is to say, none. Many, many Germans are unable to locate any Erklärung for their families, if indeed one was ever issued. They were by no means universal and few official records from the pre-war era still exist.

Lawyers from the Southern Poverty Law Center have succeeded in bankrupting the second-largest Klan group in the US, the Imperial Klans of America, in a civil suit filed by a Kentucky teen who was beaten up at a county fair where Kluxers were recruiting.
