Well IIRC a TV show needs to run to 7 seasons before it can be permanently syndicated (i.e. a repeat can run every day of the week from a different season), so I'm guessing Fox will try and get to 7 days and then call it quits.

So I managed to find series 4 and 5 and have now watched all 48 episodes in the last 5 days!

Well, he's been in a few films and TV series. I know him best from Robocop ('I bet you think you're pretty smart huh? Think you can outsmart a bullet?', later the toxic waste crash dude), and as Dr Romano in ER.

I haven't kept up with the series, but am now trying to crib the lot for research purposes (writing - not journalism). I haven't seen who you're talking about, but, just FYI, I remember that Romano in ER was also the sensitive gay guy with the clown hair in Fame. Which is weird.

The last time I tried to convert an mpg or avi to dvd I left it 12 hours and it was only two-thirds through (I've only got a 2GHz computer but even so). If there's a quicker way, I'll have a go for you.
