24 Season 7

Brilliant, i've seen up to where jack gets infected with the gas,10-11pm..

i don't think i'd wanna watch it online..wouldn't wanna ruin it...

Bumping this thread...

I watched E15-18 back to back on Wednesday and

1. I'd forgotten that the best way to consume 24 confections is to binge

2. OMFG!!! I was unsure over the first 12 eps of this season, but these last 4 have ratcheted up the tension about 100 notches...awesome, awesome stuff:

Jack gets the shakes!! Kim is blonder than ever!!! Larry Moss proves he has the cojones and then gets shot!!! Starkwood isn't the ultimate baddy!!!!! TONY REVEALED AS WORKING FOR THE BIG BIG BAD!!!! Maybe it's the dude on the yacht.

The last 6 eps should be fucking awesome...

I have to be honest - I'm a bit worried about that particular storyline turning into this seasons 'Jack's Nephew Being Kidnapped' thing that helped ruin S6:

I mean, he's got the prion disease, he's started getting the shakes but LO! there's a small possibility that there's a 'stem cell' (FFS!) cure that might work...I mean come on...

Bang on, kyser. If we had a sticky up thumbs smiley, I'd use it now.

Kim is maturing very well

Yeah, she's really left that "being really irritating and wet and going 'Daddy?' all the time" thing behind, hasn't she? Oh no, wait a minute, she did it yet again within 7 seconds of appearning on screen for the first time. Shoot her in the head.

It's really frustrating that every season has a stupid little sub-plot like this for some reason. Remember Kim being chased by the puma in S2? I mean it's hardly 'credible' but at least this season has been pretty well anchored in terms of OTT terrorist plotting, but why throw that in? Much better would be:

...to have it revealed that the prion disease for the US only severely damages the brain, fucks up memory and personality and whathaveyou and makes Jack even harder than he already is.

The reveal of Tony was brilliantly played tho - almost up there with the Myer-revelation from S1 I reckon

Ah, the puma......lesser shows would not have survived that.

On balance, I'm really pleased with the series so far though. I had expected it to be the nail in the coffin and, in fact, it's been the shot to the heart with effenebrin or whatever they call it.

Tasty bad girl who gets even tastier when she removes the blonde wig.

Have to say I'm impressed that Jack didn't go for the stem cell recovery. It'll now probably be something far more sensible like coming back into the field fixes his brain. Or he'll be cloned, minaturised, and go inside his own head to kick the prions asses.

So - I'm up to episode 22 - I think there will be a gap next week and then a double header to finish - so what's gonna happen then?

I think Kim is going to die  - this will give Jack a reason to take some of her blood to cure his virus and then set off into season 8 hunting down this mysterious organisation or maybe not :)

Once again,
Kim makes it all shit and unbelievable :(. Managed to make it to 22 episodes this time before it went rubbish
.

The couple were too nice...and also another reason not to trust people who look like hippies and who have patched elbow jackets...

The couple thing was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO lame! Really, really, REALLY fucking lame. Bordering on when she got chased by that leopard or whatever it was. A puma?

No it isn't. It is nowhere near Kim being chased by a montain lion in S2 - to start with it's exactly what you'd expect Tony to do (which is why we could all see it coming), and it places Jack back in his classic bind - family vs nation...

Just her happening to go up to two people who happen to be the dodgy ones out of everyone in the airport or anyone on the flight. It was lame because you know in 24 land that absolutely anyone you talk to for that length of time is either going to:
A) Attempt some evil or
B) Die heroically oh, or
C) Learn to respect Jack Bauer after an initial rocky patch

Don't get me wrong, I love the show despite all its flaws, but Kim Bauer has just pissed me off from the start and is LONG overdue a good death.

well we all knew there was a season 8 so he wasnt going to die...

like the way the bird went all Bauer on the dude tho :)
