yeah but so long as they don't fuck around with repeating the cliches of season 6 it was almost liek the writers died half way through and then they simply recycled the lines jack had to say in a different order each episode...

no it started i think just after it had finished (it's filmed about 6 months before it's shown though it did have one of those lost bozzy 'season breaks')

I've watched extra's on some of the discs(possibly season 2) which showed them filming parts of the series while watching some of the eps on tv and stuff.

season 5 filmed parts of season 6 at the same time due to location restrictions and you can tell the writing is up on the rest of it (i beleive - doign this from memory which isn't the best).
