They're an enormous group with lots of little sub-groups that the government don't have exact figures on. They've been growing since the mid-to-late 60s and the government's man (David Shayler) is watching them closely and has been trying to manipulate them ideologically. Many of the elders are university drop outs or postgraduate drop outs and very well educated, so I can't imagine him getting much mileage out of them - they'll have cottoned onto him pretty quickly and won't trust him as far as they could throw him.

lots of conspiracy theories and borderline anti-semitism floating about though, more through ignorance than any serious political ideology and some right dodgy fuckers on the fringes of the scene
