The ceremony is ending. I have to go downtown soon.

There were people downtown, way more than usual, but not the crowds from two weeks ago.
A relative said a week ago or so, 'we're worried about you guys, now that the olympics are over'. I said, not to worry, it was really good, we have to think about that etc etc.
You know, I think there's a bit of a come-down. A bit of depression even. Something really good and out of the ordinary happens, and then you go back to the normal routine. The normal routine doesn't quite compare.
I think we all want these Paralympics to recreate it, and I think in our quest, we'll attend the games like they've never been attended before. Which is good. It was good to see some guy in a wheelchair from Argentina enter the stadium, and 60,000 people are cheering at the top of their voices. What that must feel like. All the events are selling out now.
I guess nothing has changed no-how: if you get a high, you're going to get a low. I'd be interested to hear what Shreddy says, although I think he's gone back to his film job, and that keeps you busy 14 hours a day, seven days a week when it's on.
I have to say Canada really does know how to put on these big sporting events. Last time the Commonwealth Games was there it was excellent. The under 20 world cup a couple of years back was nigh on perfect. And that was a pretty damn fine Winter Olympics.
So Canada for the next available World Cup, .

I don't think Britain got any.
