I just got a PM from alef letting me know that i won the yearly comp. I voted last week, (for big eejit's "Juxtaposition") but didn't actually post to the thread.

I'm sensible of the honor, and very flattered. Thank you to those who voted for my picture, and bugger off the rest of you.

Seriously, though, there were some great pictures last year, and not just among the twelve monthly winners. People here take some damn fine pictures. I haven't entered the monthly comp for the last few months, as i haven't really taken the camera out much recently, but this will hopefully inspire me to be a bit more active again.

I like the tiny bit of yellow in front of the boat, just slightly breaking up the blue.
