Emerging from the computer games industry, 3D-explorers The Sancho Plan produce a variety of progressive audio-visual works such as experimental musical animations, VJ performances and online experiences. Interlinked with TokyoPlastic.com, their aim is to explore the use of carefully combined 3D graphics, motion, high level design and refined sound and music to produce powerful live interactive AV performances.
Nominated for the best VJ category at the 2003 Diesel-U-Music awards, Ed Cookson has presented their work at the ICA, the Big Chill, the Iconscious festivals, Addictive TV's AudioVisual lounge and it is soon to be broadcast on Sky. As well as the above, Ed has VJ'ed at numerous London venues including Turnmills, Fabric, Pacha, 93 Feet East, Subterania, the Barbican Centre, The Rhythm Factory, the Fashion & Textile Museum, AKA, Herbal, Aldwych tube station, the Deluxe Gallery and Thirteen.
