$1bn Middle East peace offer

Alderban has a very , very astute point. Hahahahaha. I did not even think of that. I told everyone it was a publicity stunt. But then TAE also raises another point that could be debated. I do have fair knowledge of shari'a but am not an Islamic Jurist so I am curious as to wheter or not it would in fact be acceptable.

In "everything derived from gambling profitsd," it is exactly the same in the Jewish religion. The source is what is truly relevant. If I gamble on a horse and win 50,000 dollars [US]. I then buy a Maserati with these winnings. I sell the Maserati and take that profit to make a donation to a charitable fund, the money is dirty. I should say in principle because gambling is completely allowed in our religion and most religious Jews gamble frequently. The principle though ios whether laundered money is clean...and on this Islam and Judiasim agree.

Fez: My point, which you missed, is that he has no intention of investing 1 billion dollars in anything "Palestinian." It was for the self grandeur.

It is against Israeli Law to even talk with HAMAS, let alone fund their economy.

Rhys: Why would agreeing with me alarm you? If something is right it does not matter who else ackowledges it. Only when something is wrong does it matter.

Moono: Indeed, you are correct, and I am wrong on the issue of the second gambling tycoon. My apologies.

Fullyplumped: You must have missed the famous "Jewboy" thread and the other one [shyster] that he was also snared on but I know the mods do not want all thgis resucitated so zipppppppppp.
