ETA: its been donkeys since i went to ska nights, i might start coming to yours - how much are drinks? Also is this the 'skawash' night i'm see posters in New Cross for?

Skawash is somthing diffrent although some of there DJs are coming sown to play one night... we havent really got a name unless we are running the BBQ in witch case we are SKABQ (i love that name) drinks are between £1 - £2 we got some intresting drinks not just your normal crap. oh and some normal crap aswell teehee and we got a pool table HAHAHAHAH that does it for me... although im gonna start asking for donations on the table so we can get a new cloth for it.

it sounded like a good gig,but lots of people at the bookfair were saying it was like 12 quid/8 quid which is fuckin ridiculous says I.It's not even a benefit.Fair enough some of the line up are good but no PUNK band is worth 12 quid..i've been to punk all dayers in deptford for 4 quid! did anyone go to this in the end?

i went to ramparts and got my punk fix for cheap and it went opn till 6am up the dirty squats

Luckily I knew about this gig from elsewhere ...

I went, it was a fiver. I missed the bands though.

It was eight £ when we went, but we did catch 3 out of 5 bands. Got there too late for Bogus Gasman, but we were there from Kilnaboy onwards. Don't know where the £12= rumour came from, I'd heard £10= ...

As posted on the Anarchist Bookfair thead ...

The Deptford afterparty was an absolute blast though -- £8= to get in as opposed to the expected tenner, and we got to see 3 class bands, Kilnaboy, King Blues and the ITs were all completely superb, best I've seen them in all cases. Party venue (squatted pub) was clean and well organised. Beer cheap!

How they got away with that party without being shut down was a shocker (in a good way), the bands were all outside in the yard, the place was near quite a few residential blocks, and Siren/Reknaw sound system was pretty fat ...

Had a great time, though we had to leave before Blaggers ITA came on because we were tanked up, knackered and we had made the mistake of swigging a friendly geezer's Special Brew

Friday ska night sounds a winner too! Will try to check this out before I leave London ...
