Not content with meeting the US president in a week his nation was accused by medicines sans frontiers of war crimes (again) Ahmed then goes to Sudan for a photo opportunity with Omar al-Bashir a wanted war crininal accused by the international criminal court of genocide. Now his parents have decided to accept a scholarship for him in qatar.
It's ironic how he's (his parents) are milking the percieved injustice by rubbing shoulder with experts of the trade. It fits the warped "clock inventor" narative i suppose.

One could sarcastically argue that he should know better, being the genius behind the "invention" of that clock, but yeah, I agree. Poor sod.
Even the school and the cops could argue they were only doing their job (however badly) but what he's been put through since can only described as damaging.
When he grows up and old enough to know better, I wouldn't be surprised if he files his own lawsuit against his dad.
