nice one boohoo, 10pm sharp! (apparently)

so, yes, I'll be, erm, djing, from a portable cd player AND a laptop and some mixing device in between. Challenge! :D

I think I have all the ingredients for a recipe for disaster which means it'll probably go well ;)

Right. I don't think I'm going to make this, because I'm tired and I can't afford a late night. I might well go to Offline, though, and amble down later if the mood takes me (i.e. if I've had a few pints and think 'bollocks to work!'). Have a good night all. :)
 
Well this lightweight won't be making this either... :o After the week I've had, I'm just not feeling up to it. But I've sent the lad & I'm sure he will dance enough for the both of us! :cool: :D

the party is going absolutely fantastically

to temp any late comers first person to come up to me and say "ecchi nano wa ikenai to omoimasu" gets a free drink!
 
when i left, dubversion was arriving (always a good sign) and things were in full swing. however - i'm properly broken from a day of misadventure, so i came home (lovely cab driver didn't rip me off and wouldn't drop me at the corner - insisted on delivering me to the right door. how cool?)

things looked fun, though. serious business people are the loveliest people ever!

what a lovely night that was - it'll go down as one of those very memorable nights that I'll always remember.

nice to see people who I hadn't seen for ages (I won't name anyone so I can appear to be enigmatic ;) - see spanglechick's thread)

treefrog thank you for your quick thinking with the cd player, that was one of my favourite tracks and I really wanted to play it.

We were too tired to find the party. Kept walking up and down the Lane looking, we think we heard music but then again....

when monkeygrinder came home i said something like "i was totally battered last night" and he replied that yes, i'd mentioned that just a few times to everyone i saw. :o
 
Great night, always a pleasure to see the Serious Business collective. :cool:

Junkieslip, Magneze and Gergls sets in particular were A+, been a long time since I heard some proper London techno, have really missed it!

G and I managed to miss the afterparty by wandering into the park to look for squirrels, apols for not seeing people :o

And now I have to go home! Oh noes!
