12 Monkeys

Brad Pitts fuckin twitchy overacting ruins this film for me,shame cause otherwise it not bad.

I thought he was really good.

I think he plays his character absolutely perfectly to be honest, I think it was deliberate that the guy was really twitchy because he wasn't meant to be as mad as everyone thought he was. I think he absolutely nailed that character

My friend once had some lass piss in his sink while the dishes were still in it at a party so he just threw her onto the street with her knickers round her ankles

I like the look of it but my hatred for Bruce Willis is so strong that i can't face it

Watch the The Hamster Factor if you have not already seen it.

I am not really a Willis fan either but he actually works well in this film because of the role he plays. Gilliam wanted to cast Jeff Bridges but the film studio wanted a 'bigger' star in the cast.

Also Pitt was not a big star at the time this film started shooting. He took a pretty small salary and Willis was not paid anything until after the film was released.

Great film

Great film - gets better each time you watch it.

And Bruce Willis is very very good in it. No really.

I'm not a 'fan' of Bruce Willis but the guy has done some great stuff: Pulp Fiction, 12 Monkeys, the first Die Hard and even a short run in Friends.

When this came out, a bunch of people told me that it was 'crap, and a bit weird' so I didn't watch it for ages. Then I finally saw it and was blown away...

This is one of my favourite movies tbh. Great stuff, weird without being obtuse, some quality performances.

Without a doubt Gilliam's best and most complete film, and one of Willis' best roles I reckon...now I like BW, he's got good presence, can act when he wants to and stuff, but this was an exceptionally good role for him, lacking as it does any chance for him to quip...
