12-JUNE-09 A New Beginning, SeOne, London (free party sound systems unite)

who would they be then? i think there's a wide selection of free party DJs from London, Bristol and surrounding counties rigs past and present

tbh i'm surprised at the amount of rigs there, i've spoken in the past with a few of those apparently attending and there has been a lot of bitching about this whole shit, though it seems that it's all talk as per usual....

if i was in the country i'd probably go though to catch up with people, as much as it would pain me to line this cunts pockets.

You will need one of these:
Passport (all Nationalities)
National ID card
Driving License
Provisional Driving License
SIA Card

Would have thought something could be organised so no-one brought anything, then they would have to let everyone in

:)

Apparently, it's a legal requirement because it's in the arches under a railway station. Same thing happened when I went to Shunt recently. Seems fucking ridiculous tbh

Everyone likes her.
She will be found dancing manically
I will be found sitting down talking about how the scene is not as good as it used to be

I find it difficult to believe that after all the rants/posts on here about the state and freedoms people would submit themselves to this, especially Urbs. Those not boycotting events like this should be ashamed of themselves for submitting to this for the sake of a night out.

FFS

What an ideal opportunity to gather intelligence on all the squat rigs and their loyal punters.

I cannot believe that this is actually going ahead

Ah well, there's always our genuine underground party on Saturday (all be it on a much smaller scale)

I was going to boycott but that would make this the 4th techno do i've launched out of in 2 months, and it's just so nice and easy to get back home from, i could stagger back! considered going to the Stumbleworthy thing instead but who knows where that'll turn out to be. :(

Zone 3 N London ;)

Might still come out for that n'all, but I won't be able to stagger back. Major sell point for me that, a Stumbleworthy with good staggerbackability would be sweeeet:cool:

You totally should! There are a pair of girls playing records who, are, well, have to been seen/heard to believed, who are v pleased to be staggering back to their Zone 2/3 homes also.

There are one or two other decent record playing types. And like I said, I'm more than happy to inspect your ID and charge you for fag breaks!

someone please tell me the finger printing isn't true.. I looked on the website and couldn't find mention of it.

only if you want to smoke- you'll be charged for it as well.

got a lot of respect for a lot of the people involved in making this night happen, no doubt it will be full and make money, but still- se1 :(
