Ultimately a depressing read , unions smashed by the state

'Twas ever thus. And will continue to be till capitalism is destroyed. At the same time, such histories tell us what is possible: that the working class isn't always disinpowered, disillusioned and easily conned by political snake oil. And if we learn from our mistakes, we can learn how to do things better so we don't get smashed by the State. That's my optimistic spin for the day
