I've never understood why none of the major channel, the Beeb, ITV or even Sky, don't snap up James Richardson. His presentation of Gazetta in the 90s was legendary. I so wish Channel 4 would buck up it's ideas and bring their Football Italia coverage back - sack Alan Carr and drop Big Brother and that'll pay for it several times over.

I agree wholeheartedly, except the bit about Talksport being humourless. Do you even listen to it? It's banter central and some of it is genuinely funny - Adrian Durham is a great windup merchant for example.

Setanta have him presenting their discussion programmes, he does a good job of trying to liven up the old ITV "Premiership Parliament" format on Monday nights, why they don't have him doing their live coverage instead of "More Beige than Steve Rider" Angus Scott I don't know.

I find Stan Collymore, Alvin Martin and Ray Houghton as dull as dishwater. Micky Quinn can barely string a coherent sentence together and they've even got Jezza Kyle dishing out red hot football chat.
