No it's not, it's rubbish. The book is wonderful. And it's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, ffs, not Willy Wonka.

My mum and Dad took me to see the Railway Children when I was little, then bought me the record so I could hear the story again and again.
I loved Jenny Agutter. I didn't even mind Bernard Cribbins.
Did they mention that one? It's my all time favourite 'famileh' film.

Is it just me that thinks ET is boring mawkish rubbish? And that Dumbo is better than The Lion King? Ok, that last one probably is just me.

It's just you in regard to ET, but I agree about Dumbo, which is the best of all the animated Disney films IMO.

I much preferred 'Return to Oz'. It's closer to the L.Frank Baum books, and even as a kid, when everyone was complaining that it was 'scary', I thought it was brilliant, whilst I could tell that the original sucked.

Goonies is excellent. Watership Down far too sentimental and depressing and I've never seen The Princess Bride but I keep hearing about it and saw a clip of it when this programme was on.

Does not seem to be that cheap on any of the usual sites I order from. I think that I paid about £6.00 for it and it seems to be around £10 - £12 at the moment.

It is worth every penny of £10 though...
