I saw mention of putting footprints on his fav spot (not sure if it was this thread or not) did this happen? If so did anyone get pictures of that?
Thanks for those who have posted pics already! It looks like everyone had a great time and Emmett was certainly there with you!
When I was little I was scared of thunder and Mum used to tell me that it was just Nana having a party in heaven and it made me feel so much better! Consequently I LOVE thunder storms now! Emmett is now the heart beat of monster techno music so whenever you all hear that bass think of him fondly as he watches over each of you and dance your hearts out 10 steps back and 2 to the left for him!
THANK YOU just isn't enough to express my gratitude to all of you who organized this and attended. What a GREAT way to send him off! You all did him proud! I only wish I could have been there

The feelings that I have from last weekend are really indescribable...nearly a week later and I am still smiling. It has been a tough week in terms of recovery 
but I have felt full of so much joy.
Sometimes you go out and have a wicked weekend and feel great for a couple of days, but this was something really special, and I seriously have been buzzing all week.

Worth coming back to post the pictures i took.
so here they are along with some others of Emmett being Emmett.
and this photo breaks my heart when i think about it because he should BE THERE! RIGHT THERE
I had a really nice night, but i found it very very weird that he was looking down at me. it was comforting but it made me really miss him terribly and there didnt seem to be many people i could express that to so we left a bit early.
at that point in the evening i'd normally be looking for a sofa and a spliff and as it was i just couldnt face going upstairs. i found comfort working the door and seeing just how many people came in and how totally fantastic every fucking one of them was, no aggro, no hassle.
Fair play to the door staff big D & the magic C who was a fucking trooper searching everyone.
I was a real pleasure seeing so many old party friends and people who've i've shared spliffs, laughs and hugs with over the years and never really chatted to. being on the door meant i made the connection again with lots of people. It was a genuine pleasure to have the opportunity to chat with Ishu.
What a fucking party!!!
We did Emmett proud in style
I'm a bit sad I dont have any of the party in full swing (there was a photographer taking 'proper' photo's for an hour or so - perhaps someone could speak to the venue man C and find out if we could get a set of prints), I might borrow some off other people if thats ok.
Emmett was a fuckiing bright star and he'll be shining for a long while.

Emmett WAS there with you not just looking over you and I am sure he was smoking a big fatty with you too! Lord knows Mum was with him doing it and both of them were smiling their cheeky grins and giggling as they always did!
