£50 to see Iron Maiden

I paid €90 to see Neil Young on Monday,

Now there's someone that should've been on at Glastonbury ...

What was he like, CM? I've not seen him live for a few years now.

I'm going, can't wait! My parents shelled out for tickets for all of us but it was £45 each plus booking fee as far as I know - I don't think that's bad at all, given the price of gigs these days - I've shelled out around 3/4 of that for much shorter gigs at London venues - this is Iron Maiden doing a 2 hour set plus 3 or maybe 4 supports (I forget the exact line-up), doors open mid afternoon - so you're getting more for your money than an evening only do. Compared to some of the prices I've seen recently this is a bit of a bargain!

Maiden are fantastic live - they'll pull out all the stops! Have fun!

He was completely fucking incredible, one of the best gigs I've ever seen. I've never seeen anyone play guitar like that in my life! If you ever get the chance to see him again, GO!
