Hey, Jefe, since this thread is dying on its arse I might as well use it to tell you that I bought the new Pearl Jam CD yesterday. The first few listens are always difficult, but it sounds really good. And since they professionally record every live show they ever do, buying the new CD gives you the right to download two live concerts of your choice too. Can't say fairer than that. Could be time for you to make the leap.
I suppose it helps if you know the context - the bloggers involved in it are entirely aware of their own nerdy tendencies and welcome being brought back down to earth with a bump occasionally by their long suffering partners.
