    Summer Solstice when and where...

I'm planning a trip to Glastonbury for Summer Solstice.

I know the longest day is Thursday 21st June but confused about which sunrise will be celebrated. Is it the sunrise of 21st (i.e Weds night into Thurs morning) or sunrise of the day after the longest day (i.e. Thurs night into Friday morning)?

Wouldn't want to go all that way and get it wrong now especially since it's been a pig getting time off during term time....

Also input on where to be/ what to do most welcome!

The pyramids at Teotihuacan (mexico) will attract thousands of neo-aztecs, hippies and new-agers all wearing white to "absorb the energy".

    I`ll be at work.

Wednesday night/Thursday. Up the Tor. Take warm clothes and an enormous tolerance of drumming and poi artists. Might be a bit quieter this year due to festival having opened its gates by then.

Is it really? how odd. I always thought Glasto fell early June.

Should be a bit quieter for my little trip then
