WAKE FOR ST AGNES PLACE - 5pm TONIGHT Tues, 29th Brixton Town Hall

This has just been anonymously forwarded to me:

    WAKE FOR ST AGNES PLACE

"To celebrate 30 years of diversity and community, a wake for St Agnes Place is happening at Lambeth Town Hall.

Everybody welcome. Please bring music, candles, warm clothes, hot drinks and celebrate with us.

    Starts at 5pm."

Wouldn't it have been more useful to have everyone actually there, helping out with the evictions? After all, it wasn't like the street was technically dead at the point, it was still in its death throes. Who organised this wake? Seems almost like a diversion.

Oh yeah... Don't have the guts to post my point on the other one, it's all a bit heated.
