"To celebrate 30 years of diversity and community, a wake for St Agnes Place is happening at Lambeth Town Hall.

Everybody welcome. Please bring music, candles, warm clothes, hot drinks and celebrate with us.

Wouldn't it have been more useful to have everyone actually there, helping out with the evictions? After all, it wasn't like the street was technically dead at the point, it was still in its death throes. Who organised this wake? Seems almost like a diversion.
