Van Hire in Brixton area...

......need to hire a small van for a day to get us from Brixton to Ikea in Croydon and back again after work one night. Biggest item would be a bed and then lots of other bits and bobs. Called this taxivan.com people and he reckoned 80 quid!!!!

Does anyone know where I can rent a cheap van from in the Brixton area?

Did the same trip myself a month or two back. Cost £40 for the day, plus they charged me an extra fiver to call the DVLA cos I didn't have my paper thingy.

They told me to bring it back half-full, which it was when I picked it up. I drove all the way to Ikea, back to Camberwell then back to Brixton and the needle didn't move once. So free gas too!!!
