haven't been there for many a month but they seemed to open every day, the notice on the door says 10-7 IIRC.
Got a fair few good tunes crawling about in the basement area downstairs mostly 80s groove and the odd house track but sometimes the covers are abit knackered.
I once went down the stairs and there was a door on the right just before you turn into basement part of the shop, it was open and some Japanese guy was looking through vinyl stacked on shelves from the floor to the ceiling  I asked the guy upstairs and he just nodded to me and said 'That's the vault' I took it you only get the nod to look in there if you're a valued customer and are prepared to spend hundreds of pounds.
Let me know if he gives the combination to the door Dub! ;)

yeah, they always seem to be open - esp on sundays, which is a great day to spend hours flicking through the £1 bargains

anyone know what happened to the record shop under Brixton Railway station? I can't remember what it's called, Vinyl First? It's been closed for over a year now, the lady who run it had to go and care for her mother I think  She was always very friendly as well.
