Anybody know any good ones?
I've asked around elsewhere in more artist focussed places and all I've got are:
geographically specific ones (but in places that I have no links with)
very commercial ones
really pretentious collectives
I just want to "network", plan group shows and pool promotional stuff etc.
Ideas?

I know of a community based one near where I live. From what I understand it's as much to do with networking as it is for art appreciation. Whereabouts do you live?
I imagine we have more choice in London.
How about doing one of those summer courses or an evening corse aimed at practising artists, might be helpful with networking if you get the right kind of class.
We also have quite a lot of open studio events going on round here which is a great way of meeting people and their stuff and maybe inviting yorself back to talk about group shows or setting up your own network.

Cheers for the links.
Yeah, they are the obvious places to look, but I've found nothing that really fits.
:(
Oh well.
