Anyone know anything about the stabbing on the Hill last night?

Apparently a girl/woman was stabbed on Brixton Hill last night.

Some say she died, some not sure.

Some say outside the funeral parlour, others say outside the furniture shop on the other side.

As I came up the hill late last night on the bus just before 11pm, there was definitely an area on the right cordoned off by police. I think it was near the prison, possibly the corner of Waterworks Road.

From what I've heard it was nearer to Blenheim Gardens, but that's not far off anyway.

Walked past the aftermath and wondered what had happened....it was on the corner of Blenheim Gardens. Horrible. Hope the girl's OK.

Yes, unfortunately I was in the area at the time although too drunk to comment on what time it actually happened. but it happened in the driveway bit between southside and is the place next door.

To me it looked liked a bunch of young poeple 18 or lower, about 30 of them maybe more gathering round 1 person in the middle. I had no idea what was going on, everyone in the southside bar was taken inside and the door shut for our safety i think. When we came out a few minutes later someone had been stabbed. It looked like all these people had chased this girl up the hill, cornered and stabbed her. No-one involved had been drinking in the south side. They came from nowhere disseapeared after and it was all pretty nasty. I didnt speak to anyone so have no idea how bad it was although it didnt look life threatening.

There have been a lot of police and community support officers in the area recently, particularly talking to the 'professional' ladies in Josephine Avenue. I wonder whether the victim was one of their number?

So they chased her from Southside to Blenheim Gardens before stabbing her?

No it didnt happen at Blenheim (well not what i saw anyway), Blenheim is lower down the hill, which is the direction they came from, it happened outside the Southside bar in the driveway bit. Thats the section that was taped off by the police.

Blenheim gardens was taped off as well and the road on the other side of Brixton Hill.

Officers were looking in gardens presumably for a knife.

The stabber must have run back down the hill.

Right ok, the girl i saw lying on the floor was outside south side bar. I didnt see the other stuff. It looked like some scary gang sh1t to me. I just rememeber there being loads of people on the street suddenly and being taken sheparded inside by the bouncers.

I was down Blenheim that evening and it was taped off, which implies crime scene. Southside wasn't taped off at the time I walked home (11pm ish). Mebbe there were two :/

Blenheim was taped off to stop cars but they were still letting people through on foot as i walked down to the shops.
