View Full Version : Another Krakow question

I'm just about to book a flight that will get in to Krakow airport at 6.30am. I'm in two minds about whether its worth booking accommodation that we could go to straight away, or just book for the next night, and check in at lunchtime, which would save us maybe 70 euro. We won't have much baggage, so if we could go somewhere nice for breakfast and chill for a while, or put bags in left luggage for a few hours that would be ideal. Or should I not be so tight and pay for the extra night, even though it would only be for a few hours extra use?
In Cork Airport hotel you can book into a snooze lounge for a few hours - that would be perfect, but does such a thing exist in Krakow?

If you speak no Polish and the airport helpdesk speaks no English then you're doomed anyway tbh :p
But they might speak Polish to me!
Just remember to be polite and say 'Kurwa' a lot (Polish for please).

You naughty man.
If you haven't booked accomodation yet I recommend these people:

Really nice and helpful and for cheaper than a hotel you get an appartment to die for. I wanted to buy the one we were in.
I so wish i was going too. I love Krakow.

I suspected that was a rude word!
Thanks a mill for the accom link - that looks exactly like what I'm after. Which one did you stay in? I love staying in apartments, but I had a disastrous experience once in Rome so am always happy to get word of mouth recommendations.
From what I remember the airport is tiny. I doubt there's much in the way of snooze facilities.
The people are bloody wonderful though. Even if you're staying in a big chain I doubt you'd have any trouble getting them to look after your bags for a few hours before you check-in, which should be by early afternoon anyway.
I suspected that was a rude word!
You'll hear it all the time :D

Go straight to the hotel. If they have a spare room they'll give it to you, if they don't they will let you know when the first time a room will be available for you and they will be able to store your bags for you.
Assuming it's not a complete shit pit that is.

There was seven of us so we needed a big apartment. Worked out cheap as chips between us all.
