Passenger numbers using rail services across Wales are forecast to increase by more than a third according to new research.

Good job they spent so much time singling lines, demoting stations to single platforms and reducing capacity in the past, eh? Grr!

I worked in cardiff for around 8 years travelling down from the valleys. There is no doubt the service was becoming more and more overcrowded and subject to ever increasing delays. Its a fucking joke. A total lack of investment in the valleys line and the services were appalling.

You should see the bfore and after photos of stations.

Before: well tended stations with several platforms, long canopies keeping passengers dry and warm waiting rooms.

After: solitary windswept platform with a cheap shitty vandalised bus shelter for cover.

That's what I stand on everyday. I really want to use the train, but some days, when the weather's digusting, the thought fills me with dread and I take the car instead. :(

Sort it out!
