Dear Udo -

Just dropping you a line to let you know that group has started to come together working towards a segment of the World Naked Bike Ride in Cardiff in June next year, the same weekend as similar UK and Northern Hemisphere rides. As you may know. the ride protests against fuel dependency and celebrates the human body, and takes place through city streets to engage with the public. Nudity is a feature of the ride, but full nudity is not compulsory for those taking part. This year about 1500 people took part in five U.K. rides.

An much-praised film about the 2005 London ride will be one of two films shown at Cycle Cardiff's DVD night at Chapter Arts Centre on 3rd Dec. starting at 7.00 p.m. Discussion will follow the film. You may be interested yourself, and it would certainly be great if you could spread the word. Anyone interested in a Cardiff ride is invited to join this Yahoo! group:

or find out more via the UK Wiki page - link to the Cardiff page included.

I hope I may get to chat to you at next Monday's public meeting at the University - if you're not too busy! - although I probably won't see you at the London event on 8th as i'll be going early by train to join the cycle protest.
