at the WMC.
If you manage to see this, get down there.
You get a good view even from the gods. We loved it tonight.

Goota say though, they charged us £15 a seat, in the gods on a thursday. The place was 1/2 empty... no wonder they are in financial difficulty

I know they do have £5 tickets and had we known and bought them we'd have been able to see the stage and would have had no less an experience hence me being a teeny bit peed off but no so much so that I cant urge you lot to get your arses down there before it closes

They sold out of £5 tickets but they had a few £10 ones leftover, should have i bought one? I thought £10 was a bit much.. saving up for Tin tin! lol

we're doing tin tin too but we got an educational rate £7.50
Stomp was just brilliant as was slavas snowshow.Id rather go there if the budget will stretch than to have dinner out or cinema

If you have kids a good tip is to investigate the workshops they run. The ones weve done have been great quality. £4 a child. If you book your tickets for the related show at the same time as the workshop they give you top price tickets( up to around £30+) for £7.50 for accompanying adults too.

Do you guys reckon the WMC is worth the money it takes to run?

I have never been there to be honest but won't make a judgement, seems to be a really good educational value to the place though?

it would be if bad management didnt mean that it was running as such a massive loss. There are things which could be done to be filling it every night such as cheap tickets on weeknights (esp in the gods)
£60 for 4 tickets in the gods on a thurs night FSS??Bad business practices and elitist pricing and massive debt that we all have to subsidise? Under those conditions then no its not worth the taxpayer supporting it when it could be making money- lots of it.
