on a Saturday, from between about 12.30pm to 6.00pm - in the general area (either side of the bridge) is it residents only parking or open season?

milkwood road is free parking from about 30yds up from the back station gate, but you may have to head up the hill a ways to find a spot.

i don't know, maybe you should ask... but i'm sure there's plenty of parking on brixton hill 'up teh top end...'

You can park on Burbage Road IIRC.
Also there is some quick parking (thirty mins I think) outside that red bakery and on Stradella Road.
