Why is the English rugby team so blond?

Seems a daft question but something like a quarter of them seem to be blond, Moody, Flood, Wilkenson and so on....

Compaired with the football squad, those of north european decent do seem to be alot blonder in the rugby team.

you do realise natural blonde hair is relatively uncommon in the UK?
