Hartlepool United player,Michael Maidens,died this morning as a result of a car accident.
Maidens was 20 years old,still in the reserves,but did have 7 first team appearances under his belt,scoring one goal (against Huddersfield at home)which was goal of the season 05/06.

That goal always was special,its now even more so.

Happened to a guy from QPR I think too recently. Very sad :(

Marvin Robinson, on loan to Cambridge United from Oxford, also had a serious car accident recently.
