Just seen the trailer for a new film called Flood - in which London (http://www.flood-london.com/) gets flooded catastrophically.

Any good dinghy shops in town?

Glad I live on a high bit.

Twisting sciene for entertainment just like that crappy one in New York. If it does happen living in a high bit ain't gonna help much cos you won't have any power, water or access to food. Could always eat yr dinghy I suppose.

Seems a very high budget film for a Brit flick.. will the American audience give a fuck if it isn't set in the US?

I hope I'm wrong, but I do suspect it's going to be a vacuous one-trick gimmick i.e. swap lack of people for water and you've got '28 Fathoms Later'.

Stupid film. All you'd have to do would be to walk first to Hampstead Heath, and then keep walking to North-West... From Central London to the Heath is 45 mins at a steady trot.
