Back in the day, I used to get hammered in that pub, but only on Mondays. Did a wonderful light and bitter.

Went past there just after the cops came, a grey van with bits of scaff on it. Never been in the East India arms, but it always looks good - i.e. like a proper pub.

It is a proper pub, the staff are always on the ball in there. Not too keen on their choice of lagers though - Oranjeboom or Holsten.

Aye. There are still some lovely wee City drinkers if you know where to look for them. Usually off the beaten track/small alleys, well away from the All Bar Humans and Mug & Lettuce crowds.

Even as an abstinent person these days, I much prefer a 'proper' pub.
