O Talho Portuguese butchers gone?

Hey all,

Does anybody know if O Talho, the Portuguese butchers on Atlantic Rd, has gone for good? They seem closed, and there is a sign on the window, but I'm not able to translate it!

It's a sad sad day if it is gone.. anybody know?

Hopefully nothing to worry about - I think they often take a holiday of a few weeks over the summer :)

They're closed for four weeks for a refit. I really like that place (apart from the lecherous butcher), so I checked!

They usually close for the whole of August don't they? That's when most people take their holidays in Southern Europe so maybe they're just joining family back home :)

You're thinking of the deli a few doors down on the corner. O Talho never closes - it's even open on Sundays!
