Does anyone remember a club called ‘The Project’ being in Streatham, or where it was?

I heard about this place recently, and am wondering what its turned into.

I presume you're referring to the mention in the Guardian (http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/music/2007/07/from_ibiza_to_interzone_acid_h.html) today?

A night at Caesars perchance? Not quite sure myself.

gawd, my memory from that period is swiss cheese. IIRC it was one of two clubs that played mostly soul/funk stuff nearby - wasn't it on the site of where Porky's was, or roughly opposite where Safeway is now?

Was a little too young for those places, but I remember the M25 parties which soon followed.

Is Porky's shut? Never been in so I couldn't say!
