You know, the one that used to be Apollo, round the corner from Brixton Academy and sorta opposite the Police Station. Anyone remember what it's called, if it is?

Alternatively, is there one of the same chain somewhere around Tulse Hill/Norwood Road?

Eeeeh! My memory isn't what it used to be...

They've both closed I'm afraid.

Tssh!

Anyone recommend an internet cafe in Peckham, Tulse Hill, Herne Hill or Brixton then?

There's a little one between Brazas/Lick Finger and the Costcutter at the bottom of Tulse Hill. I've only used it a few times so can't say how much it costs tbh - it's one of those little phone/fax/computer places...

There's one on Coldharbour Lane by the Angel pub, or there's the library, although you'll probably have to wait behind the local nutter to get a turn.

Cheers! But don't you have to be a member of the library to use said computers...I'm asking on behalf of a mate who is staying at mine this week you see...

No - it's a separate thing. Or at least it was the last time I used computers in there, which admittedly was quite some time ago. Call the library - they'll tell you. :)

(and if you go there can you ask if they've found a johnny boy cd and a environmentalist calendar lying around?)

There are also another two: one on the ground floor of the Brixton Rec building (not run by the Rec, it's part of a money-remittance firm) and yet another just opposite the Town Hall, on Acre Lane, next door to Bamboula restaurant.

Never used either so don't know what they cost, though. It's a real shame about Apollo as they had nice staff and reasonably good hardware as well.

There are 2 up on Brixton Hill, Tana, which is an actual cafe, with wi-fi beside the White Horse

And further up beside Access storage, 50p per half hour.
