does anyone remember the flash flooding in brixton about two years ago? i cycled home along brixton road and there was at least a foot of water on the road...

does anyone remember the flash flooding in brixton about two years ago? i cycled home along brixton road and there was at least a foot of water on the road...

Great pics Editor. I was trying to take some but was too busy trying to avoid getting my head bashed inI took a bit of video but the door hit me at the end so it goes well wobbly.. I'll see if I can edit it later.

well actually I meant to say video but it's all over the place and not worth looking at as I was too busy ducking the hail :o but await yours with anticipation :D

fookin' hell, was this today??

I was only about 2 miles down the road (SW17) and although it rained hard, there was some hardcore thunder and lightening - there were no hailstones... :eek:

And the flooding!!!

Well, my grandma in Kansas can relate to all this. Here's her town:

40% of the town evacuated! I don't think she's seen floods like this in her town and she's 92!

I missed the floods, by the time we came through on the bus (having heard about the flooding we didn't get the tube, in case we got our feet wet). Bah, it looked exciting. :(

I do. I was on a little P4 bus and we thought we were going to be hit by lightning. It was quite scary. :) And I got wet up my calves when I got off. :(
