in Granville (I think) arcade, Brixton. here is a review from my bf:

Went there yesterday - 3rd time - and saw my first 'other customer'. Business is apparently slow... Too slow... They opened a few months ago and are still hoping that it's just a matter of time before word spreads.

Word doesn't seem to be spreading - hence this post!

£8. Excellent service - real care & attention etc. Cool music on. They can get a bit carried away with mousse - but they're hairdressers, godammit. Turkish methinks - but could be wrong.

They say it takes a man to know how to massage a man('s head) - and I am sure these lads would give a very good scalp rub if you gave them a couple of quid. In fact you get a short but v nice rub as part of the service.

I normally can't stand going to the hairdressers and avoided them like the plague for years - but Magic Scissors is pretty darn good! Praise indeed....

(Nearly as good as the hairdressers in Turkey - where they massage your
arms too ).

P.S. WHEN THE FUCK ARE THEY GONNA START TO RESURFACE STOCKWELL SKATEPARK?????????????????????? IT'S CRACKING UP ALL OVER AND POTENTIALLY LETHAL

I'd love it if those great little barbers did women's hair too. :)

well, sorry :p

it would be so much better to have more than just one boy/girlfriend really... but this is only in theory i guess...

i passed by there today but forgot to pop in and ask. however my guess is that they are only men barbers and would not be up to date with the latest london woman hairfashion..

£8 you're having a laugh.

Go to Andy's at the bottom of Tulse Hill.

£8 is pretty cheap for a haircut.
