Has anyone been recently?? - we were thinking of going to check it out (after many many years of not getting around to it.. :o ) but when I passed this morning it appeared to have been renamed "Amazonica"..... :confused: Does anyone know if it's changed hands or something? I hope not 'cos I only ever hear good things about it - although of course, it might still be good even it...

We were there a couple of weeks ago and the food was the same as before, same prices (same menu), just under new management. Same waitress too :)

I really like the food in there, and can never get over how big that place is!!!

The Vegetarian plate called something "Vegtariania Delicias" is la bomba! - love to go there for that.

-enchiladas have way too much cheese on them so beware.

I went last night and should have had the veggie fajitas but had the enchilada... you're right about the cheese! But it was really yummy - and HUGE!

Definitely want to go back on a Fri/Sat night later on at night and dance (obviously very badly.. :D ).

I really enjoyed it there but there was a LOT of little flies all over the place, which I guess gave it quite an authentic "hot country" feel to it... :D

Little flies? That's not a good sign at all. They're fruit flies. Environmental health should be made aware of that.

Is that the same place we went for spangles birthday? Did you have the Meat with Meat and some Meat (and a bit of plantain) again? :D
