Airport security

When passing through Minneapolis recently, I got selected for "special screening" and led away by a bloke in rubber gloves.. :eek:

Thankfully, we he didn't lead me to a separate room :D but rather a separate way through customs.

They took all my stuff off me and swabbed it down -- putting the swabs in an analyser.

Thing I hadn't seen before though was this stnd-up booth that I had to walk into -- then, standing still, these jets of air strongly puffed over my body -- was very space-age :cool:

Anyone experienced this -- were they testing for traces of explosives on me?

Saw those air blowers in San Francisco the other week.

Didn't get a chance to have a go, but did wonder what they did.

Then security stole my lighter :(
