View Full Version : Singapore to New York non-stop
Singapore Airlines run the longest commercial flight in the world, 18.5 hours  I love flying though and really want to do this. Apparently they don't have standard economy because it would be too horrible, so have a special premium economy. On the way they go over the Pacific, on the way back over Europe. How cool is that?

How much are they charging?
I think Singapore Airlines have had to modify the plane to have a cupboard to hold a dead body. The route the plane takes leaves limited options to land (flying over lots of water), so if someone dies on board they put them in the cupboard.

I've just done London-San Francisco (11 hours), 1 1/2 days in town then San Francisco to Hong Kong (15 hours), 2 days in town, then back to London (13 hours). Lost a day crossing the date line, away 6 days in total.
Back to work this morning, I have no idea what time or day it is.
But twas fun all the same.
